Our times of worship together are very important to us as a church.
There are times when our worship is formal, and times when it is quite relaxed. Generally it is somewhere in between!
Songs and hymns are projected onto a variety of screens around the worship centre, using colours that are easily accessible to those with sight limitations. Our technicians ensure qulity sound reinforcement and we operate a loop system, so those with hearing challenges are able to fully engage.
Services are streamed live over the internet so that those who are unable to be physically present can join in worship with us at home. Recordings of services are normally available on the website within a few days to either listen again through the website, or they can be downloaded - click here to go to the service archive page.
Services begin at 10:30am.
At the front of the church is a soft area for young children. Bean bags, age appropriate chairs and tables with activity sheets linked to the service theme enable children to feel welcome and included. The children enjoy using various play musical instruments during the hymnes and songs.
At an appropriate point in the service the children and young people leave the main service and go to groups dedicated to various ages. Group leaders are DBS checked and we operate a "safe to grow" policy, assuring you of good child care.
On the fourth Sunday morning of each month we celebrate communion - click here for more information about communion.
This is frequently a more traditional service, however we also have informal times of reflection, testimony and a range of teaching styles.
On the second Sunday evening of each month we celebrate communion - click here for more information about communion.
4:00pm monthly service - Songs of Praise
On the third Sunday of each month we hold a "Songs of Praise" style service where songs and hymns tend to be older and more traditional, yet no less relevant to today. People bring personal testimony of their walk with God, whilst others might volunteer to be interviewed about how faith has influenced their working life. The Church choir periodically contribute too! Click here for more information.
7:45pm iD+ group
We have many connections with people aged 17 to 25 years who have little experience of "church". In a gentle, relaxed and fun environment we seek each week to discuss some of life's big issues facing them at the time, bringing a Biblical perspective. Food is always involved!
